BBC School Report 2016- Interview with Gillian Smart

Questions about bullying and working at the BBC
1. How long have you been working at the BBC for?
I have been working at the BBC for 12 years and I have been working in weather for 6 years.
 
2.  What is your favourite part about working at the BBC?
It’s something new everyday and the weather is always changing especially in Scotland because one minute its sunny and the next its not.
 
3.  Why did you choose to work at the BBC?
Ever since I was 12 or 13 I wanted to be a journalist because I really enjoyed English and Modern Studies/
 
4. What do you think about bullying?
I think it is a dreadful thing to go through and I think whether you're young or at school or whether you’re working it can still happen and has a huge impact on your development and self esteem and I think anyone going through it should seek help.
