Bannerman Buzz
In 2012 Suki Wan started the Bannerman Buzz which is the school newspaper. The idea behind the newspaper is that it is a pupil led experience; pupils write the articles and run it with only a little help from Mr De Smith. Every term we publish a new edition talking about events that have happened in the school.
It is a truly great experience; it builds your confidence and social skills, it looks good on a CV and it helps you with your writing skills. There are also a lot of opportunities involved with the buzz such as School Report Day and trips to the BBC.
Writing is not the only way to get involved with the buzz you can also take photos as well as/instead of writing articles. If you are interested come up to Mr De Smiths on a Tuesday lunch time to get started.
