Dear Parent/Guardian

Following on from the success of previous Activities Days, this event will run on Monday 25th June. Pupils will have the opportunity to engage in a range of different activities organised by staff.

Details of these activities will be distributed to pupils during Tutor time with their preferred option to be passed on to their tutors. If pupils are successful in gaining a place on an activity they will need to pay a £10 non-refundable deposit to secure their place, with the balance payable by the start of June.

Regular attendance and appropriate behaviour over the course of the year will be rewarded and taken into account. Pupils that have not behaved appropriately in school or did not show good conduct during last year’s Activities, will not be allowed to participate in these trips. Parental consent forms for trips will also be issued nearer to the time.

On the Activities Day, pupils must wear school uniform unless going on an Excursion and attend registration. Pupils not registered, arriving late or proving disruptive will not be permitted to take part in that day’s activity and any monies will be forfeit. The deposits paid by pupils are likewise non-refundable as the school is liable for the cost of places that are not taken up.

If you or your child feels there may be difficulty meeting this cost, then they can discuss this with their Pastoral Care teacher and we will endeavour to assist where possible.

Yours faithfully

Mrs L McKnight
