University of Glasgow Scholarships

Each year the University awards 50 Talent Scholarships to new Undergraduate students. The value of the award is £1,000 p.a. for each year of the student’s degree programme. These scholarships are for talented Scottish students who hold an offer from the University but who could face financial difficulty.

N.B. the closing date for applications is May 6th 2016. We recognise that for many applicants this will be prior to confirmation of their final exam and/or course results. Nonetheless, we encourage all eligible offer holders - conditional and unconditional - to submit a scholarship application in advance of the closing date. (The relatively early deadline ensures that all applications are processed and awards made in advance of the start of the academic year)
