Higher Physics is the progression course for candidates who have successfully achieved qualification at National 5, or for candidates in s6 seeking to add additional sciences to their portfolio of Mathematics and Science Highers achieved in s5.
It is a demanding and highly paced course which contains introductions to profound areas of modern Physics such as relativity , cosmology and particle physics and also builds on existing knowledge of classical physics .
There are three academic units and a unit requiring production of an experimental and research based report.
